Samsung have unveiled the Samsung FX2490HD 24-inch SyncMaster which is a premium LED monitor with a built in TV tuner. This underlines Samsung as the unrivalled global leader in the premium monitor market.

The clever design of the Samsung FX2490HD offers the ultimate marraige of artistic design coupled with cutting edge technology providing customers with an ever-expanding choice of Samsung premium LED monitors.

The Samsung FX2490HD 24-inch SyncMaster offers a unique "Quad" stand design with a 24" inch screen an integrated TV tuner and has inputs in the form of 2x HDMI, a SCART for Europe and a D-Sub. The monitor has a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 5ms response, 1.001: contrast and 250 nits of brightness. It also has PiP support, jack for for veiwing media USB sticks and has support for 7.1 Dolby Digital and DTS Audio.It is likely to land in Europe and the US this month for around $540.
